About Us

Classes & Schedules:

Maryland State Law requires that the child must have reached the age of the class by September 1. Kindergarteners must be 5 years old by September 1.

· Our two year old class meets two, three, and five mornings per week (Tuesday/Thursday or Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Monday thru Friday) from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and have three teachers per class with a maximum of 12 children.

· Our three year old class meets three and five mornings per week (Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Monday thru Friday) from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. 

· Our four year old class meets five days per week from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and has two teachers per class with a maximum of 20 children per class.

· Our kindergartners meet five days per week from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and has one teacher and an assistant with a maximum of 20 children.

Pre-School Curriculum:  Each week the pre-schoolers are exposed to:

· Reading readiness skills 

· Math readiness skills

· A new social studies or science unit weekly

· Circle Time

· Related crafts using various media

· Music and movement class

· Chapel (once per month)

· Outside play (in an enclosed, safe environment)

* All classes have an intro to Spanish (once a week)

Kindergarten Curriculum:  Each week the kindergartners are exposed to:

· Language Arts

· Reading and reading groups

· Phonics 

· Mathematics

· Geography

· Science

· Social Studies

· Arts and crafts

· Music and movement class

· Introduction to Spanish

· Chapel (once per month)

· Outside play (in an enclosed, safe environment)
